More Is Not Enough
Every age has its temptation. Ours is the conviction that the next thing — the next purchase, the next notification, the next achievement — will finally be enough.
It will not.
The Qur'anic Counter
"Is not Allah sufficient for His servant?" (39:36)
This verse is not a slogan. It is a diagnosis and a cure. The disease is the felt insufficiency of what we have. The cure is recognizing the actual sufficiency of the One who gives.
Practicing Sufficiency
- Cap consumption at what genuinely serves a worthy life
- Curate inputs — the people, ideas, and media you let into your head
- Return often to remembrance, the practice that locates contentment where it actually lives
